Homework for full time in school The only homework is unfinished classwork or extra assignments during hybrid model
Students are expected to re-read their notes and finish any unfinished class work every night. There is always vocabulary to study as well. Please be sure your notebooks are always up to date as they will be collected and graded. Class notes and homework should be neat, dated and clearly labeled in the front of your spiral. Vocabulary and key points will be in the back of your math only spiral notebook. Current vocabulary will be in blue attached to each grade page. It is best for students to come in with specific questions and places they looked for help on those questions the next day so I can best support them quickly. General homework pages are listed next to each topic via each grade page. Calendars will keep you up to date on topics we are currently learning, when assessments are, and when things are due in addition to general school information pertaining to that grade. For individual assignments please check your agenda. Extra practice or homework credit (if you are absent or do not have your agenda at home) can be obtained by writing and completing the corresponding video lessons or completing 85 mastery level for one or more corresponding ixl links. All work must be shown in their math only spiral notebook or it will not count. Only neat, complete, labeled homework will be accepted
Assessments for full time in school
Students will be quizzed when a module is finished. Being prepared is half of your success with anything. Students are expected to know when a quiz is and bring home the necessary tools needed to succeed. Any assessments below an 80 should be signed and returned with corrections or the student jeopardizes getting a strike. Corrections that count as points back are only offered on tests. Parents can use parent portal to see grades.
